HealthTech Industry Experts to Help Position the Company for Hyper-Growth

Patient Alerting Logistics (PAL), the critical healthcare messaging innovator, today announced the appointment of healthcare technology industry veteran and thought leader Jim Champagne to its Advisory Board, helping to spearhead PAL’s technology launch and ongoing commercial expansion.  Mr. Champagne brings with him more than 35 years of health tech experience at both large international corporations and emerging healthcare innovators that have helped change the face of the field today.

Capitalizing on his business expertise and passion for the field, currently Mr. Champagne is an independent industry expert, advisor and director for a range of healthcare and security organizations. Until 2015, he served as an executive director for Dell Healthcare & Life Sciences, where he was responsible for overseeing market positioning, sales and  integration of its successful unified clinical archive portfolio.  Prior to that for seven years, he was president and chief executive officer of InSite One, the innovator of centralized cloud-based digital image storage.  At Insite One, he played a key role in bringing this technology into the mainstream, while building the company’s commercial success and industry leadership until it was purchased by Dell in 2010.

Long in the vanguard of healthcare innovations, Jim Champagne launched his career with Philips Medical Systems, where he led business development and marketing for several emerging healthcare technologies as they were introduced into the North American market. He has also held executive positions with Konica Medical imaging.

“A comprehensive,  real-time patient communication system is crucial to the delivery of the highest standard of care,” notes Mr. Champagne.  “But unfortunately today healthcare remains mired in dated, manual systems of communications and record keeping that negatively impact care and  even patients. I am proud to be associated with a company that is tackling this problem head on with patient messaging that leverages the most advanced technologies to link every stakeholder in the healthcare ecosystem.”

“We are pleased to have the talents and experience of an industry veteran like Jim on our team,” comments Paul Dandrow, chairman, CEO and co-founder of PAL.  “Jim’s deep healthcare background affords him an invaluable understanding of how crucial and at the same time challenging it is to connect all healthcare stakeholders for enhanced communication and collaboration.  With his broad range of experience, he also has deep knowledge of the processes and procedures that can help to effectively accomplish this in the modern healthcare age.”

The PAL Advisory Board will bring together a cross-section of pre-eminent experts in information technology, healthcare, and business to collaborate with  PAL on achieving its goals of changing the way healthcare communicates.  All advisors will be notable for their  success in their respective fields and will be  instrumental in developing  key strategies for managing PAL’s system scalability  and rapid growth.

About Patient Alerting Logistics (PAL)

No one should be harmed or die because of a medical intervention meant to save their life.  Yet, every year thousands of people suffer needlessly due to a failure to communicate critical patient information across the entire healthcare ecosystem.  A case in point are those who miss mission-critical messages about medical devices implanted in their own bodies. Hospitals, providers, device manufacturers and many others, as well as  patients themselves all must contribute to deliver the message.

PAL’s mission–and passion–is facilitating this. By eliminating the archaic, manual  processes  in place today, PAL closes a significant communications gap and supports comprehensive information exchange and collaboration among all healthcare constituents, improving patient safety and saving lives. . . potentially  the life of someone you know.  PAL leverages leading edge technology, proven processes and an innovative perspective to create an ultra-reliable, modern communications system achieving one seemingly simple but challenging goal: immediate, reliable delivery of mission critical healthcare messaging to enhance patient care.  With PAL: Message sent.  Message delivered.  Every time.
