Online Map Serves as a Reference Tool for Opportunities To Expand Access of Care For ADHD Patients Via Telehealth

PEARLAND, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#ADHDQbtech, the technology-first leader in ADHD assessment and testing, today announced the launch of its U.S. Telehealth Map. Available at www.qbtech.com/telehealth-adhd, the interactive resource will serve as a reference tool for psychiatrists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners and other ADHD clinicians seeking to expand care opportunities across their state.

The map utilizes data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the United States Census Bureau, applying a national average for the adult ADHD diagnostic rate against census data to generate a representative example of the number of prospective ADHD patients in any given area.

“We all know that telehealth increases access to care but exactly how much is hard to quantify, until now,” said McCall Letterle, Head of Commercial Operations North America at Qbtech. “We wanted to give clinicians a representation of the potential individuals with ADHD they could reach through telehealth. Using our map, ADHD physicians and nurses can clearly illustrate the potential growth in patient numbers should they adopt telehealth in their practice.”

Demand for ADHD testing via telehealth continues to rise, connecting doctors with patients who may not be able to visit brick and mortar clinics, those in search of more convenience and flexibility, those in rural communities, and those in need of specialized resources.

Qbtech, already a leader in onsite FDA-Cleared ADHD objective testing for diagnosis and treatment through the delivery of its Quantified Behavioral Test (or QbTest), recently announced the availability of FDA-Cleared QbCheck, a virtual option to serve clinicians in search of telehealth data solutions.

QbTest and QbCheck deliver clinical confidence through objective data on the testing of core ADHD symptoms, providing clear answers on the presence of ADHD in patients, whether remote or in-person. In addition to core testing services, Qbtech offers dedicated training and ongoing clinical support for its Telehealth customers to help clinicians become experts in interpretation and confident in decision making, alongside visual reports that both clinicians and patients find valuable.

For ongoing treatment of ADHD, clinicians can retest patients via QbTest or QbCheck to provide a snapshot of treatment effects for ADHD, confirming for healthcare professionals with objective data on the efficacy reported via patient feedback.
